“You will be collected from the dockside and driven through the heart of Zululand to Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park, the oldest proclaimed game reserve in Africa. Reknowned as place where the rhino populations were saved from extinction in the 1960s, it is home to the Big 5 plus the majestic endangered Wild Dogs (also known as Painted Dogs), cheetah and other African wildlife.
Spending a relaxed but immersive day exploring the park and searching for wildlife such as elephants, rhinos, zebra and giraffe amongst others you’ll enjoy learning about the natural world around us and a sense of what makes Africa so special! This experience is viewing wild animals in their natural habitat and as such no wildlife sightings are guaranteed. Whilst we try our best to find the animals, they do roam free.

We had a fantastic day ! We were met off the ship and enjoyed all the day offered . We of course saw many animals on the reserve but also some of the South African countryside and towns on an enjoyable drive to the reserve . Do not hesitate to book this and ask for Ashley ! - Jayne

Excellent Tour! We had a wonderfull day from the first to the last minute. Our driver was waiting in a comfortoble mini bus direct in front of the cruise ship well in time and drove us to the national park. At the gate we changed to an open safari jeep. Our driver Arno had a lot of experience and spotted animals more often than the three of us. He drove safely and always place the car in the best position for us to take fotos. There was water, soft drinks, wine and beer available. During lunch time he had a wonderful place and offered a great barbecue lunch ( table and barbecue facilities were available at the spot) with Meat, Saussages, Salad, veggies, bread and drinks. All tastes very well and while eating we could watch an elefant in the river. We spent 10 hours in the park and enjoyed every minute. We had enough time to stop for half an hour and follow a group of 4 Rynos. A perfect day with a perfect guide! Going back to the gate our driver was already waiting, dropping us safely at the cruise ship. All very well organized. Thanks ? - Stephen
We had a wonderful day with Ashley (The Little Bush Baby Company) at Hluhluwe-iMfolozi National Park. He came to the cruise terminal on time at Richards Bay to pick us up in his very comfortable SUV. This was perhaps the best tour/travel experience we have ever had in our many years of international travel. Ashley is passionate and highly educated about the fauna and flora of the South African bush and is an experienced tour guide. His tour of the National Park exceeded our high expectations. We saw virtually all of the animals in a natural setting and learned so much about the history and culture of the area. Ashley is South African and very knowledgeable about his country. The morning snack and picnic lunch prepared by his wife Katie were superb and her pre-excursion communications were excellent. Our return to the cruise terminal after a full day of fun was enjoyable. We would give this tour and company the highest possible rating. - Lloyd
